Following the success of the previous AAU International Conferences on Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences and the AAU Health and Biomedical Postgraduate Symposia, in collaboration with Monash University Malaysia, the College of Pharmacy proposes organizing:
The event will provide a platform for researchers, healthcare professionals, students, and industry partners to exchange knowledge, showcase innovative research, and establish collaborations in emerging areas of health sciences.
Conference and Symposium History:
• Brought together 100+ participants from UAE institutions.
• Focused on pharmacy, nutrition, biomedical sciences, and clinical sciences.
• Included a postgraduate scientific competition and a molecular modelling workshop.
• Attracted 179 participants in a hybrid format.
• Featured oral presentations, poster sessions, and the Three-Minute Thesis competition.
• Covered health, biomedical, pharmacy, nutrition, and AI-related research fields.
• Received 150+ submissions from 60 universities.
• Covered seven thematic research categories.
• Strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration and academic networking.
• Organized by Al Ain University in collaboration with Monash University Malaysia.
• Held under the theme “Empowering Postgraduate Research and Innovation through International Collaboration.”
• Welcomed participation from more than 40 universities across 15 countries.
• Featured 220 submitted research abstracts through oral and poster presentations.
Submit your research under any of the following categories.
Patient care, medication management, clinical outcomes, pharmaceutical care services.
Drug mechanisms, molecular targets, pharmacotherapy, pharmacodynamics.
Novel compounds, computational drug design, medicinal chemistry, lead optimization.
Drug delivery systems, nanotechnology, formulation development, manufacturing.
Molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, diagnostic methods.
Nutritional therapy, food safety, functional foods, dietary interventions.
Epidemiology, health policy, community health, disease prevention.
Machine learning, deep learning, predictive modeling, clinical decision support.
Awards will be presented to the top three student submissions in each thematic category, recognizing excellence in research and presentation.
AI in Research & Publication: From Idea to Manuscript
A practical workshop introducing graduate students to the responsible and effective use of AI throughout the research and publication process, from literature searching and idea development to academic writing, data interpretation, citation checking, and manuscript preparation. The session will also highlight key risks, including fabricated references, unsupported claims, and inappropriate use of AI.
> Registration includes access to all scientific sessions, conference materials, certificate of participation, coffee breaks, and lunch.
> Presenter registration is mandatory for abstract inclusion in the conference proceedings and program.
> Once the abstract is accepted, we will send the participant a payment link.
