About the Conference

Social networks are dynamic and evolving in nature; they involve a huge number of users. Frequently, the information related to a certain concept is distributed among several servers. This brings numerous challenges to researchers, particularity in the data mining and machine learning fields. The purpose of International Conference on Social Networks Analysis, Management and Security (SNAMS-2023 ) is to provide a forum for researchers to present and discuss their work, which is related to social network analysis.
SNAMS-2023 aims to investigate the opportunities and in all aspects of Social Networks. In addition, it seeks for novel contributions that help mitigating SNAMS challenges. that is, the objective of SNAMS 2023 is to provide the opportunity for students, scientists, engineers, and researchers to discuss and exchange new ideas, novel results and experience on all aspects of Social Networks.

LOCATION

SNAMS-2023 will be held in Al Ain University, Al Ain Campus, United Arab Emirates

SUBMISSION

We are pleased to invite you to submit original contributions to SNAMS via the offcial submission system at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=snams2023. this can include, technical and experimental, theoretical, conceptual, or a survey. All submissions will be peer-reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, importance and clarity.
Accepted types of submissions are including:
• Full papers (8 Pages),
• Short papers and PhD forum (6 Pages),
• Posters and demos (3 Pages).
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE.

SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES AND PROCEEDINGS

Manuscripts should be prepared in 10-point font using the IEEE 8.5" x 11" two-column format (IEEE Templates). All papers should be in PDF format, and submitted electronically at Paper Submission Link. A full paper must not exceed the stated length (including all figures, tables and references). Submitted papers must present original unpublished research that is not currently under review for any other conference or journal. Papers not following these guidelines may be rejected without review. Also submissions received after the due date, exceeding length limit, or not appropriately structured may also not be considered. Authors may contact the Program Chair for further information or clarification.
All submissions are peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers. Accepted papers will appear in the SNAMS Proceedings, and be submitted to IEEE for inclusion. the proceedings will be submitted for indexing to EI (Compendex), Scopus and other indexing services like DBLP. Poster and demos are not included.
Submitted papers must include original work, and must not be under consideration for another conference or journal. Submission of regular papers must not exceed 8 pages and must follow the IEEE paper format. Please include up to 7 keywords, complete postal and e-mail address, and fax and phone numbers of the corresponding author. Authors of accepted papers are expected to present their work at the conference. Submitted papers that are deemed of good quality but that could not be accepted as regular papers will be accepted as short papers. Length of short papers. Papers should be submitted electronically by the deadline to https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=snams2023

POSTERS AND DEMOS

Authors are required to submit up to 3-page short paper describing the poster content, research, relevance and importance to any of the conference Track themes. Submissions must follow the IEEE conference format. If accepted, these 3-page short papers will be published in the SNAMS proceedings of the conference. Participants will be able to display the poster during the conference. Authors are invited to submit their contributions electronically. The recommended poster size is A0 (33.1 x 46.8 in, portrait).
Authors are required to submit a 3-page short paper describing the demonstrated system, clearly indicate what is going to be demonstrated, and state the significance of the contribution. Submissions must follow the IEEE conference format Participants will be able to showcase the demo during the conference.
the demonstration papers will appear in the proceedings as short papers; therefore, authors need to follow the instruction for preparing short papers, described above.

PHD FORUM PAPERS

The aim of the PhD Forum of SNAMS is to provide PhD students at all stages of their research a supportive environment to discuss their research proposal, practices and methods, and to promote networking and collaboration. The PhD Forum is an opportunity for students to obtain helpful feedback of their research from leading academics and practitioners in the conference related themes. PhD students working in any area addressed by one or more topics under the SNAMS conference main tracks can submit a paper describing the core problem of their PhD research and its relevance by providing a clear statement of the problem they intend to address, the motivation of the interest and novelty of the underlying research challenges, the explanation of the main ideas by examples, and a description of the proposed research plan and expected results.

JOURNAL SPECIAL ISSUES

Selected papers from the will be invited to submit an extended version to the following journal (J.UCS https://lib.jucs.org/ and IP&M
https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/information-processing-and-management. Papers will be selected based on their reviewers’ scores and appropriateness to the Journal’s theme. All extended versions will undergo reviews and must represent original unpublished research work. Further details will be made available at a later stage.
